San Diego Floral Association
Flower Arrangers Guild

The Flower Arranger's Guild of the San Diego Floral Association is a standing committee of the Association. It serves as the creative arm of the Association.

Membership in the Guild is open to experienced flower arrangers.

The Guild meets monthly September through June (on the first Thursday of each month) in Room 101 of Casa del Prado.

Members bring flower arrangements for display at the meetings (suggested topics for each month are planned in advance). Arrangements are presented to the group and critiqued, as part of the on-going learning process. A materials fee of $5/year is levied and members must, of course, be members of SDFA.

Each meeting is followed by a lunch, provided by the members on a rotating basis.

Guild members provide floral arranging services for at least one non-profit organization each year. Guild members often make floral arrangements for the Association's dinner meetings; the arrangements are then made a part of an opportunity drawing.

Guild members also prepare special arrangements for the Association's annual holiday show. Most Guild members are active in various garden clubs and enter arrangements in the various flower shows.

Mission: To promote the knowledge and appreciation of horticulture and floriculture in the San Diego region.
